The State Government of Sabah in conjunction with Jabatan Air Negeri Sabah (JANS) has implemented Non Revenue Water (NRW) Reduction Projects (Phase 1,2,3 and 4) in the Kota Kinabalu water supply district and has achieved outstanding results and reductions. Water Systems Optimisation Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) was appointed as the NRW specialist contractor for the city of Kota Kinabalu from 2010 until 2016.
